Green Tea - contains catechins which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties to support lung health.

Red Cabbage - contains anthocyanin’s plant pigments which give red cabbage it deep red colour.

Olive oil - has antioxidants, polyphenols as well as vitamin E which can help to protect the lungs.

Lentils - contain iron, copper, magnesium and potassium that can help lung function.

Blueberries - like red cabbage they contain plant pigments that help protect the lungs from oxidative damage.

Beets and beet greens - the brightly coloured bulb and leaves at the top of the beetroot plant have compounds that improve lung function.

These are just a few of the foods that help support healthy lung function. 

We can see that our immune system needs to be balanced, active enough to deal with the risks we will encounter Kerstin Wrba as we travel the path of life but not an immune system that over responds and aggravating the issue. 

So just how do we support and maintain our immune system; diet and lifestyle are key and fundamental to maintain and support our immune system and our immune response.
