For many of our generation the British Seagull will be the catalyst to bring back memories of family fishing trips, time at the beach and lake. The sound, smoke and smell that brings the memories flooding back. Silberhorn supports the Seagull Race which has been running each year for about the same time as Silberhorn, the best part of 30 years. Last Easter, Silberhorn sponsored the filming of the race from the bottom of the Karapiro Dam to the mouth of the Waikato River, 88 miles. The footage has been edited into two and a half hours and captures the mood, the nostalgia and the scenery for this section of the Waikato River over the Saturday and Sunday.
